Week 8 Elimination Time… Here we go… Definitely making it to the semi-finals are Hines Ward with his partner, Kym Johnson, and Kirstie Alley with Maksim Chmerkovskiy. Ok, as far as predictions go, 50% is probably not the best average. I predicted they would both make it to the semi’s, but the Kirstie would be in the bottom 2. Let see how the rest goes!
Dance Center was back on the show today! Always hilarious and totally unexplainable. A must see for yourself. Len Goodman, Jerry Rice, and Kenny Mayne are an odd but perfect combination!
Michael Bolton appeared on DWTS, (no, not to dance – thank goodness), but to debut his new single with Delta Goodrem, an Australian sensation. Anna Trebunskaya and Dmitry Chaplin joined the singers with a breath taking number. Delta Goodrem returned back to the stage with her rendition of “Natural Woman” , while Louis van Amstel and Cheryl Burke perform a fabulous interpretive number. If you want to see really good dancing, the results show is where it’s at!
Next performer up, Adele singing her most recent single, “Rolling in the Deep”, from her current #1 album 21. Two couples danced a contemporary number choreographed by Travis Wall, one of my favorites from the television show SYTYCD. Travis also performed in the routine. Though the choreography was pretty good, he did not look his best. His partnering skills did not compare to the trained ballroom dancers on the show.
Now, back to the results… as I predicted Ralph Macchio is in the bottom two, along with Romeo. Chelsea Kane is safe. I’m very happy about that. She made it through with flying colors! The one eliminated tonight is Romeo. Though I predicted Ralph would go tonight, I think America was close. Ralph will probably be the next to go anyway. I’ll tell you what, by this point of the season, Romeo began to make a fan out of me. I think he peaked a little too late.
